  • Patient: female
  • Procedures: Midface lift, lower eye/bleph lift, lateral brow lift

In 2006, this patient underwent an endoscopically-approached bilateral midface lift, mini-facelift through temporal incisions, lower eyelid blepharoplasty, and upper brow lift. Before the procedure, her face was showing early signs of distress and exhaustion. Even 6 years and 5 months after surgery, the patient looks young, fresh, and rejuvenated. Dr. Byun's skill caters to those searching for long-term and fulfilling results.

This patient sought out Dr. Byun to improve her facial features. Dr. Byun endoscopically performed a mid-face muscle lift, neck lift, jowl lift, and brow lift. To prevent further upper lid hood hovering and drooping, Dr. Byun performed upper blepharoplasty and lower blepharoplasty to remove bags under the eyes. The results show a tighter jawline,

A- Tragus: Many do not have the "bean shape" following a facelift procedure. Notice the natural curvatures that Dr. Byun maintains through his facelift method.
B- Ear lobe: Notice how nicely the ear lobe is extended into the facial skin area. Dr. Byun re-creates curled up, natural round shape of ear lobe. Many other surgeons' work show tell tale signs of the ear lobe pulling down.

C- Helical rim: Hairline is naturally neighbors with the helical rim, not showing much of a scar. Again, this shows the result of Dr. Byun's approach which has minimal to none visible scarring.

  • Procedures: Midface muscle lift, jowl lift, fat graft, eye lift
  • Photos were taken 1 year post surgery

D- Concha: Often people have a hole because the skin is pulling the tragus (A). When surgery is done incorrectly, the skin pulls the tragus down. As the patient ages, it creates a very wide open aperture of concha (D). As a result, you are able to see through their ear canal from a side view. To exphasize, this is not a desired post-facelift look. Tight space is maintained by Dr. Byun's muscle lift where you can should only see partial ear canal from the side. Look around at the next cocktail party you're at: if you see the entire ear canal from a side view, they are not one of Dr. Byun's patients.

  • Patient: female
  • Procedures: Midface muscle lift, jowl lift, neck lift with liposuction, brow lift, and lower blepharoplasty
  • Photos were taken 2 months after surgery.

This patient had a tired, puffy look. After only 2 months shown in the above photos, you can see a dramatic difference in bulging fat pockets and lines from aging. The patient is shown in the after-photos during the early stages of healing, without makeup. She continues to observe progress toward her optimal results.
