Bulging fat-pads under the eyes can be often eliminated with an invisible incision. Your eyes are the most expressive part of your face. Uncover a bright, younger version of yourself with this simple procedure.
To achieve the best natural aesthetic outcome, the patient underwent a combination of an upper lid muscle tuck and a brow release. Many surgeons just perform an eyelid skin removal which can create an artificial look. Surgeons who omit brow release and gentle lift will create heavy eye sets. Here Dr. BYUN recreated youthful eye features, not hollow, not pulled, and no visible scars outside of upper lid regions. The incision follows the natural creases of the upper lid with gentle brow muscle and release and reset of eye brows. This patient didn’t go through a lower eye blepharoplasty but many choose to do the upper and lower eye together.

2 Months After Photo
The patient is shown during the early stages of healing, without makeup. She continues to observe progress toward her optimal results. Also note that at 2 months after the eye surgery, there is an asymmetry of the lower eyes, and the left eye has more swelling than the right. This is an educational photo so the patients understand that two structures, in this case the lower eyes, do not heal at the same time.
1 Year After Photo
Good news is that it eventually heals very well as shown in the 1 year post op photo
